Production Technician
TENURE: Full time (38hrs per week). Casual may also be considered.
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
MANAGES STAFF: Nil direct reports but will be required to work with a multi-discipline team internally as well as with external partners and contractors.
REMUNERATION: $55k - $60k dependent on skills, qualifications and experience
Position overview
RYAN AEROSPACE is an innovative, dynamic, international award winning business. We build flight simulators for world's biggest military organisations and we're looking for a like-minded and skilled technician to join our team on the Gold Coast.
The successful applicant will be a motivated, creative and hardworking individual who likes to work as part of a team. In this role, you will play a central part in the production of flight simulator components and full systems for our business and defence clients.
About the role
The role will be varied and you will need the ability to:
- Use handheld power tools, spanners, screwdrivers etc. in the assembly process
- Develop technical / assembly documents
- Follow instructions contained in technical / assembly documents
- Solve technical problems
- Understand and interprete electrical diagrams
- Crimp and / or solder small cables, pins and wiring looms
- Work within a quality control environment (ISO 9001)
- Operate forklift (current forklift ticket preferred)
- Take pride in the day-to-day organisation and maintenance of the warehouse
- Work with PC's and simulation software (setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting)
