We can produce just about any type of commercial simulator you require. Ryan Aerospace has 'off the shelf' models but specialises in developing custom builds for specific applications.

The Helimod (pictured above), is a brand new product (launched at the I/ITSEC Defence Training and Simulation Conference and Trade Expo in Orlando, Florida, USA in December 2009).
This simulator (pictured above) is like no other in the world. It is a modular unit that allows users to change [some of] the hardware to suit the aircraft type in just minutes.
The main unit comprises the main platform with seat, cyclic, anti-torque pedals and monitor bracket to hold three LCD screens (alternatively, three projectors and a curved screen can be used.)
The modular unit (to the left) comprises the collective (complete with twist throttle and mechanical idle release latch), instrument panel, fully working radio stack with Nav 1, Nav 2, Com 1, Com 2, Audio Panel, DME, Transponder etc. It also comprises the overhead panel with working switches and buttons etc. This module can simply be removed by loosening just four allen key bolts. The unit is completely independent of the main unit comprising the seat, cyclic, pedals monitor brackets and main platform.
The pictures here show the Bell 206 Jetranger / Kiowa module but this can be changed to virtually any other aircraft type in minutes (single or dual control) including the: AS-350 Squirrel, AW-139, EC-135, BK-117, Tiger, NH-90, Blackhawk, Bell 412 / Griffin. We can custom build your aircraft type!

Introducing the Ryan R22/44 Robinson helicopter simulator. This machine is the ultimate commercial helicopter simulator. Built from a real R22 with only 2000 hours, all the gauges, switches etc. work and the controls are all original.

This machine was designed by request for the British Army, Royal Air Force and Royal Navy to teach motor skills and tail rotor failure procedures. Being a dual control system, it allows an instructor the opportunity to take control when necessary giving the student a greater opportunity to regain control. It can, however, still be used 'solo' if required. Single seat versions of this machine are also available. Quality engineering means zero 'backlash' giving a realistic feel.

Unlike many commercial simulators, ours are priced very competitively smashing simulation price barriers. For more information about pricing, please contact us .

Larger machines (like the AS-350) are ideal for carrying out training in crew resource management. We can also build simulators out of real helicopter shells to give that full, immersive, realistic sense. We are currently working on developing a number of larger machines including the Bell 412 / 212 and AW-139.
